Radiation #27: Welcome to Pinktober
27 down, 6 to go. Claire likes to count how many links are left on my paper chain.
My radiologist upgraded my creams because my skin is angry. The pharmacist warned me that this new cream contains metal and must be completely removed before radiation or it could cause serious burns. Super, I'll try to remember.
So I'm sure you've noticed by now that it's Pinktober. I actually wrote something on the subject and submitted it to CURE magazine. My breast surgeon has free copies of CURE in her waiting room, and I thought, "Well, I have lots to say about cancer. I should write for this magazine!" You can read my essay here.
